Sure it is a great show. Funny enough, silly characters, whatever. But my entire life it has come on at least twice a day at my parents house on the only channel that consistantly comes in clearly, and something about it's cheerful homey joviality makes my hair stand on end.
Maybe I could stand the hokey sweetness of the show if... no, never mind. I can't take it. I can't watch it.

Yeah, me too. Stupid small town bull. Nostalgia for an age that never existed. Stupid stupid stupid.
So I'm not alone? Yes! It is always on in our house and I hate Barney Fife.
I hate how the whole town revolves around preserving the fragile ego of the moron Barney.
Then there's Otis the town drunk who makes alcoholism look like good fun I want to see the episode where Otis craps his pants while hes passed out in the cell. A jail cell that has no toilet by the way. I guess in the fifties people didn't go to the bathroom

Worst show ever some shows I can watch but barney gets on my nerves so sensitive gonna quit his job because some writing on the bathroom wall at the school about him 😒 your a grown man quitting your job cause of some writing on the wall then blame opie.And andy babys him worst Cop ever.👎
